Who am I?
My name is Kim Long Vo. Kim Long is my first name, and Vo is my last name. If you mix all that up, I most definitely won't hold it against you.
I'm a 21 year old who resides in Westminster, CA. I am a student, musician, and photographer. My line of work takes me all around Southern California, mostly Orange County and Los Angeles. I've been a musician for longer than I can remember. Creativity consumes my life, whether it's in art or just problem solving. Sponaneity defines who I am. Try to keep up.
I am currently a student at California State University of Long Beach seeking a degree in Human Resource Management. I am also a percussionist at CSULB and have been with the department for two years now. I still participate in activites with the percussion department such as performing in concerts and photographing events.
Where am I headed?
I'm working on my Bachelors of Science in Human Resource Management. My interests in business came from me holding a summer position at a local Custom Wiring company. I worked in the Quality Control department but often assisted the managers in many tasks such as project management, problem solving, building prototypes, and many other miscellaneous tasks.
I also want to be an event and portrait photographer. When the going gets rough, photography is my escape. I discovered my passion for photography early on in my experiences with the CSU Long Beach percussion department. The opportunities and support of my teachers, professors, and peers drove me to pursue this passion. Music plays a large role in my life and is a defining factor in my photography. I can watch events unfold unobtrusively or be within the maelstrom.
I most definitely intend to stay in Orange County. I love my life here too much. Sure I'd like to travel around the world and go on road trips, but I can't think of another place to call home.
